I remember some years ago. I was checking out some forum and saw that Justice was not cool amongst hipsters anymore and that dubstep were the new big thing. So I went and bought Burial – Untrue (Lie, ofc I downloaded it). It had that atmospheric soundscape that I rarely see in the dubstep-scene today, except for Hyperdub releases. Not that I don’t like big wobbly basses and breaks from hell, but I rarely listen to that at home.
And then I found this. Eleven Tigers deliver some of the best tracks produced in the last years in that part of the scene. The atmosphere is so beautiful and still so frightening that I just want to cry, and crying is good.
And I feel that this blog start to get a little to spread around genres. But some of you following might find something new you can like so I’ll keep ‘em coming.
